    Is it considered cheating if calories stay the same? ex: 1800calories of high protein, some carbs, little fats vs 1800calories mostly carbs and fats. If yes wouldnt my glycogen storage fill up , keeping off losing fat the next days?

    This week-end I discovered that the light version of the cream cheese I usually use not only tastes better and has a better texture in half the preparations I use it for, but also simply has protein in the place of fat. I mainly used it to up my protein intakes. I'm super glad the grocery store did not have the regular version of my cream cheese available XD Now I'll buy both to be 100% satisfied with the tastes of my recipe ^w^ To think that without Coach Greg, I wouldn't have tried the light option because I heard too many times "light food is worse for you than normal version" Thanks for removing the fear for light food options I had :D

    Crazy this is STILL A discussion in the world! (Mostly by a bunch of people in media and politics with NO athletic backround go figure.) I been doing sports stuff most of my life. It's common sense. I'd like to clarify that these talks almost feel like they are MADE so that we talk negatively about the trans community or seem like "we hate them". Which is not the case. This stuff might piss us off because we know how unfair it is because of SCIENCE, but that does not mean we hate these people. Athletes just want to compete. Most want to be number 1 but FAIR AND SQUARE because thats what competition is all about. Aiming to be the best by BEATING the best. These poor female sports scenarios with girls competing their whole life with high hopes just to get completely outmatched like this is destroying their sports period and WILL completely destroy them if a solution isnt made eventually. I am all about inclusion and again, coming to terms to show the trans community that we have no problem with them participating somehow. So far though, this was the lazy way to just say "go ahead and jump into the female brackets" and is not ok.

    Tbh, idk why it is called correcting dietitians. Everything he says, they know (expact mythe 9 idk why that girl is saying diet soda is badπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ) But they just don't explain every little detail of side path all of the time. They can talk for hours about food and the details of every diet. How they talk about it depends on who they are talking to. For most people this is the correct way to explain things. Not for all people. If you talk 1 to 1 to a dietitian about your specific needs and goals, changes are it is going to be an other conversation. Just choose a dietitian that is right for you because everyone has a different approach.

    Just need to get some things of my chest: its a hellish little trick with "relationship with food". You are muddying the waters with this phrase since you now have an extra emotional component which you can play with instead of feeling guilty or accountable for your own actions. You are introducing a psychological backdoor which makes it even harder on the muddying side of things: in a relationship there are two sides and there is reciprocity. NOW you are blessed with an self created "real opponent" who has something to "say". Congratulations: you now have worsened the problem. Dont believe me and think this is to far fetched? Ask any addict about his relationship(!) to his compound of choice. Things like "I hate you heroin for making me do you" are in the same league as an unironical "i hate you cookie because you are soooo tasty" regarding the long run. Dont fall for it.

    I think you're misunderstanding what they're referring to when they say "relationship with food." Some people are addicted to certain foods and have mental illnesses associated with their weight and food. It's way too simplistic to just say STOP EATING CAKE, PUT THE FORK DOWN, CALORIES IN CALORIES OUT. Also some people have metabolic damage or very high stress and don't seem to lose weight even in a caloric deficit. Stress can halt weight loss, even in healthy individuals. Cortisol plays a role in how your body uses carbohydrates, fats, and protein so chronically elevated cortisol levels due to stress may lead the body to turn food into stored fat instead of changing it into energy. Diet soda is not fine, it still keeps you addicted to caffeine and that ultra sweet taste. Switch to Kombucha and cold pressed juices if you need a fizzy or sweet drink. There's also some data showing artificial sweeteners potentially harm the microbiome.

    Coach, How does this apply to someone who is a little higher in bodyfat than their goal and is currently weight lifting in a caloric deficic, like myself. Should I reduce my calorie intake less to reach bodyfat goal faster, and then maingain. Or continue to lift and remain in a more manageable caloric deficit until bodyfat reduces slower and over time. Appreciate ur vids and advice as always
